Little Melton Parish Council

CoffeeAndBiscuits You are invited to come to the Village Hall on Wednesdays between 2pm and 4pm, to enjoy a mug of tea or coffee and some biscuits - see below for current dates. There will be books available to take home to read and you are welcome to bring along any books that you are willing to pass on to others. The idea is to provide an opportunity for people to come together for a chat and also to swap books, now that the mobile library only calls at the bottom end of School Lane.

We had a trial cafe on 20th Sept and about 20 people came along. Future events are planned for Wednesdays between 2pm and 4pm on the dates below. There is no charge but donations to village hall funds to help cover the cafe costs are welcome! The cafe is paid for by the LM Charitable Organization, which runs the village hall.

If enough people are interested then we will hold further events, once or twice a month. It may be possible to develop other ideas such as a repair café or to hold talks. Prior to covid, there were weekly short mat bowls sessions at the hall and a monthly meeting of the Meltonians group. it would be nice to start something up again for people to get together, (the short mat bowls equipment is still at the hall, if anyone is interested!).

qos_token	.openstreetmap.org	This is a 3rd party cookie set by open street maps. We use open street maps to display a village map on our site. QOS stands for quality of service and is used as a means to rate limit access to tile servers and other services provided by osm.org.
_cfduid	.cloudflare.com	This is a 3rd part cookie from cloudfare used for site security. The _cfduid cookie is used to identify individual clients behind a shared IP address and apply security settings on a per-client basis. For example, if a visitor is in a coffee shop where there may be several infected machines, but the specific visitor's machine is trusted (for example, because they completed a challenge within your Challenge Passage period), the cookie allows Cloudflare to identify that client and not challenge them again. It does not correspond to any user ID in your web application, and does not store any personally identifiable information.
